Use Of Patient Simulators

Physiology: Patient Profiles

The HPS patient simulator has 30 patient profiles as standard, differing in the characteristics of their physiology and having an individual response to drugs and medical procedures (healthy man, pregnant woman, elderly chronic patient, child, etc.)

1. Pharmacological library

The pharmacological library has over 50 drugs, including gaseous anesthetics, the ability to administer intravenous drugs, followed by an automatic dose-dependent physiological reaction to the drug administered.

Editing the pharmacological library, adding new tools.

2. Clinical scenarios

The basis of simulation training is computer simulated clinical scenarios. They describe the scene and condition of the patient, goals, the necessary equipment and medicines, as well as comments for the instructor in a convenient electronic format.

The simulated Clinical Scenario is launched on the control computer and during the training session, a change in the physiological status is automatically generated, depending on the medication administered or the manipulation performed.

3. Wireless control

The HPS Patient Simulator comes complete with a full-featured wireless control computer that allows the instructor to manage all aspects of the learning process right next to the learner.

The screen and control buttons of the wireless computer are identical in appearance and function to the host computer. As the respiratory failure progresses, the pupils expand, the symptoms gradually increase, the patient falls into a coma, death occurs. so use patient simulator.
